Use the slope formula: [tex] \frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1} [/tex]

Plug in the values: [tex] \frac{-2-2}{-2-3}= \frac{-4}{-5}= \frac{4}{5} [/tex]

We can find slope by dividing the difference of the two y values by the difference of the two x values. (m = slope)

m = (-2 - 2)/(-2 - 3)
m = (-4)/(-5)

The two negatives cancel, leaving you with a slope of 4/5.
