5x - 6y = 30

to find x intercept, sub in 0 for y
5x - 6(0) = 30
5x = 30
x = 30/5
x = 6......so the x intercept is (6,0)

to find the y intercept, sub in 0 for x
5(0) - 6y = 30
-6y = 30
y = 30/-6
y = -5...so the y intercept is (0,-5)
