What would we observe on earth if the sun’s internal energy source suddenly shut off??

We would observe that the light went out and the heat turned off.

Since the sun's mass didn't change, the Earth's orbital motion
wouldn't change, but that would not matter any more.
Our continued existence would be just a matter of time, and
not much of it.
