The question here asks for a number, such that if we multiply [tex]3\frac{1}{4}[/tex] by this number, the result will be bigger than  [tex]3 \frac{1}{4} [/tex]

This means that this number, which we will call p, just needs to be bigger than 1.

So, it could be for example 1.5 that is [tex]1 \frac{1}{2} [/tex] - this is the correct answer!

and let's check:
[tex]3\frac{1}{4}[/tex]*1[tex]\frac{1}{2}=[/tex][tex] \frac{13}{4}* \frac{3}{2} = [/tex][tex]\frac{39}{8}=4\frac{7}{8}[/tex]
