The area of a triangle may be found by multiplying the height by one-half of the base. the area of a triangle is 21 square inches. if its base is 7 inches, find the height in inches.

The area of a triangle has the formula:

A = bh / 2

Where b= base, h=height

Rearranging the formula to find for h:

h = 2A / b

h = 2 * 21 / 7

h = 6 inches
