The women in Anglo-Saxon society have similar power like the women today, they have the right to own property, land after marriage.
The women of Anglo-Saxon society had the right to choose their life, to take control of house, to leave with their children like today.
There is also a seminal study published in 1984 about Anglo-Saxon women by Christine Fell with the name of Women in Anglo Saxon England.
