Keywords

linear equation, slope, variables

Define the variables

Let

x-------> is the number of minutes

c(x)----> is the cost for a taxi ride in dollars

the linear equation is equal to [tex]c(x)=2x+3.00[/tex]

In this problem

the slope is equal to [tex]m=2[/tex]

that means

The cost of a taxi ride is [tex]\$2[/tex] for every minute
