The Aztecs having defeated the Spanish now have guns, powder and canons; not to mention steel swords and armor. This would have given them the upper hand against there enemies the Tlaxcala. ... They would have destroyed the Aztec empire assimilating it into its knew found confederacy of the Tlaxcala Covenant.
