The answer is occipital lobe in which vision is primarily processed. In addition, the occipital lobe is situated at the back part of the brain and is connected with understanding visual stimuli and information. The main visual cortex that receives and understands information from the retinas of the eyes are situated in the occipital lobe. Impairment of this lobe can cause visual complications such as struggle distinguishing objects, an incapability to classify colors, and suffering identifying words.
