Old Major is a pig in the novel _Animal Farm_ by George Orwell.  Old Major is of the belief that humans/men are the only real reason for any of the problems experienced by the animals on the farm—that humanity is the cause of everything that is wrong.  Old Major firmly believes that once humanity is removed from the equation, so to speak, that everything will get better for the animals.
